From humble beginnings Iscar is currently one of the world's leading producers of cutting tools. Stef Wertheimer founded Iscar in 1952 in his garage. After numerous year and many expansions Iscar moved to it's current local in the Tefen Industrial Zone located in Israel's Western Galilee. Since it's inception Iscar has increased from a single market to having representation in over 50 countries world wide.

Iscar's state of the art facility uses complex and fully automatic CNC milling & turning machines to build tooling around the clock. The configuration of the facility allows for adaptability in the manufacturing process. Within a matter of hours a separate product can be placed into production. Automation has been a key to the success of Iscar. The plant uses pick and place robots as well as Automatic Guided Vehicles that are remote controlled by a central production computer, products are carried about the facility in this style.
